A Place of Rest

Our Phomolong means "A place of rest"

This is a Sepedi word, derived from Phomola, meaning Rest. A calm peaceful and serene place that offers tranquillity - and this is what we want to offer our guests. A time to reflect and relax and take in the wonders of being in the bush surrounded by nature.

We purchased our first property in the Kruger Park Lodge in 2009 with the dream of growing our holiday home portfolio and importantly showcasing a special part of South Africa - a place where we grew up. The world-renowned Kruger Park Lodge is just on our doorstep and the panoramic lowveld offers visitors to this region spectacular views of the Blyde River Canyon, Gods Window, the Mac Mac Falls, Graskop Gorge and so much more.

Moshate came along many years later and only purchased in 2021. This property being closer to Johannesburg and our family farm where we live, allows us to visit often. It is within a relatively short drive and so we are often able to spend time out in the bush, which is something dear to our hearts.
